Our Business Support Services (BSS) programme supports customers receiving DEG financing in their social and environmental transformation. We provide targeted advisory services and can cover up to 50% of the costs.
Private sector companies active in emerging market countries face particular challenges that cannot be countered through financing alone. We address the individual needs of customers receiving DEG financing by offering co-financing through Business Support Services (BSS) for projects that increase the company's sustainable growth as well as its socio-environmental impact.

The aim of the BSS programme is to improve our customers' sustainability in terms of their environmental and social commitment and to promote good business practices. We can therefore support your company in areas such as climate transformation, corporate governance, risk management, environmental and social management, resource and energy efficiency and training of staff and suppliers. We will accompany you on your transformation journey and offer solutions that are tailored to the specific needs of your company.
The target group for our conceptual and financial support is both prospective and existing customers. The offer is aimed at all DEG customer clusters. We will support you on your individual transformation pathway whether you are a business, a financial institution, a fund manager or a project developer.
We will connect you with external experts to develop tailored advisory solutions and will support you in planning and realising projects with a development impact.
Our network enables us to find international specialists for almost every topic area.
We can cover up to 50% of the costs with a project contribution of between EUR 20,000 and EUR 200,000 (there may be differences in selected cases).
